Metal Burst

Steel

Summary

Metal-Burst is a Steel-type move with variable power, determined by the amount of damage the user has taken from the last hit. The move has 100% accuracy but does not have a fixed base power; instead, it deals 1.5 times the damage received from the last attack. Metal-Burst is unique in that it can counter any attack type, not just physical or special moves, making it versatile for strategic play. Unlike Counter and Mirror Coat, it can affect opponents regardless of their type, provided the user moves after being hit. However, it requires the user to take damage first, making it risky but potentially highly rewarding.

Effect

Targets the last opposing Pokémon to hit the user with a damaging move this turn. Inflicts 1.5× the damage that move did to the user. If there is no eligible target, this move will fail. Type immunity applies, but other type effects are ignored.
