Tail Slap

Tail Slap is a Normal-type move with a base power of 25 and 85% accuracy. This move hits the target 2 to 5 times in one turn, making its effective power range between 50 and 125 if all hits connect. Tail Slap was introduced in Generation V and is a signature move of some Pokémon like Cinccino. Each strike from Tail Slap has an individual chance to hit or miss, and its effectiveness can be influenced by items like King's Rock, which can cause flinching, or Ability Skill Link, which ensures all five hits land, maximizing its damage potential. Tail Slap's multi-hit nature makes it particularly effective against opponents with abilities like Sturdy or Focus Sash that would otherwise survive single, powerful attacks.
