Physical Characteristics: - Poipole is a purple, ultraterrestrial Pokémon resembling a wasp. - It has a long, needle-like stinger on the top of its head. - It has large eyes that are yellow with blue irises.
Behavior and Habitat: - Poipole is known to be playful and not particularly aggressive unless provoked. - Poipole originates from Ultra Megalopolis, a world found in Ultra Space.
In Battle: - Poipole's Beast Boost ability can allow it to snowball through opponents if it can get a knockout. - It primarily uses special attacks, with a diverse move pool including poison, dragon, and psychic type moves.
Evolution: - Poipole can evolve into Naganadel when levelled up knowing the move Dragon Pulse.
Interesting Facts: - Poipole is considered a UB, or Ultra Beast, which are extradimensional Pokémon introduced in Generation VII. - Despite its dragon typing, it doesn't learn any Dragon-type moves by leveling up. It can only learn Dragon Pulse through a move tutor. - In the anime, a Poipole was caught by Ash, marking the first time he has caught a Legendary or Ultra Beast Pokémon.
