Curse
GhostSummary
Curse is a unique move with different effects depending on the type of the user. For Ghost-type Pokémon, Curse sacrifices half of the user's maximum HP to place a curse on the target, causing it to lose 1/4 of its maximum HP at the end of each turn. For non-Ghost-type Pokémon, Curse boosts the user's Attack and Defense stats by one stage and lowers its Speed stat by one stage. Curse does not have a power or accuracy value since its effects are not directly related to inflicting damage. The move is widely used for strategic setups, particularly in stall and tank strategies, and remains a staple for Ghost-type Pokémon in both casual and competitive play.
Effect
