Abilities:

• Overgrow: Powers up Grass-type moves when the Pokémon's HP is low.
• Hidden Ability: Chlorophyll - Boosts the Pokémon's Speed stat in harsh sunlight.

Physical Characteristics:

• Blue-green body with darker blue-green spots.
• Has a plant bulb on its back, which grows as it evolves.
• Reddish-pink eyes.

Behavior and Habitat:

• Mainly docile and can often be found soaking up the sun.
• Inhabits grasslands and forests.

In Battle:

• Can use Solar Beam, a powerful Grass-type move that takes one turn to charge.
• Can support its team through moves such as Leech Seed and Sleep Powder.

Evolution:

• Bulbasaur evolves into Ivysaur starting at level 16, which evolves into Venusaur starting at level 32.

Interesting Facts:

• Bulbasaur is the only starter Pokémon with a dual type in its basic stage.
